Our adult ministries help
people progress in their spiritual journey. Through
the study of God's Word, our adults grow in their relationship
with God, as well as with others in our Church family.
Our curriculum
includes three core classes that build a Christian foundation
by which our members live their life.
LIVE
(Life at Golden Valley Lutheran)
This class
is designed for both new and present members. The class
teaches and reviews the Lutheran doctrine to help you
understand what GVLC is about as a community of Christians
and Lutherans.
GROW
This class
identifies the top 10 characteristics that help us develop
a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. During this
class, participants develop their own Spiritual Growth
Plan.
Spiritual
Gift Discovery Classes
Discover your
God-given design! These classes are designed to help
you get connected in our church, and find the right
area of service for you to apply your talents for getting
in the game to serve God. You will be "energized" as
you discover the relationships between God's design
for you and your individual interests, concerns, needs,
and experiences. Grow in your relationship with Christ,
and join us on our journey to be the church that Christ
has called us to be. Classes are offered several times
throughout the year, and you can register by contacting

use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully
administering God's grace in its various forms. 1 Peter

small-group ministries include:
Life Light
This is an
in-depth Bible study based on curriculum from Concordia
Publishing. Several groups exist, and meet at various
times throughout the week. To join a Life Light group,

Men's
Bible Studies
This group
meets every other Saturday morning. Contact Larry Fortun

Women's
Bible Studies
Our women's
groups include Circles, Mom's Bible Study, and other
small groups. Topics are chosen by the group participants.
